K9 Rural Rangers is a non-profit, volunteer-led team providing a free service to help locate and safely recover missing dogs. We do not receive funding from local councils or government bodies, and our work is made possible through the dedication of our volunteers and the support of our community.
Every search we carry out relies on equipment, fuel, and supplies that are either personally funded by volunteers or equipment provided through donations. From feeding stations and cameras to batteries, traps and drones, these resources are essential to helping us respond quickly when a dog goes missing.

There are several ways you can support K9 Rural Rangers:
Thank You
✅ Replace worn or damaged gear
✅ Fund essential equipment, such as Traps, Drones, Trap Cameras, Wifi Boxes and Thermal Scopes.
✅ Provide food and supplies for trapping operations
✅ Improve our ability to respond quickly and safely

We go through a lot of tinned and dry dog food for feeding stations, but also use gravy, hot dogs and sardines for a scent trail. We also have our Camera Kit Setup that we use to monitor feeding stations live.
We welcome any Community Fundraising, supporters can organise their own fundraising events or activities to help raise money for K9 Rural Rangers. Community-led fundraising plays a vital role in helping us maintain equipment and respond to searches when dogs go missing.
